Aww thanks! Def keep trying! It didn't happen overnight for Jackson... his first summer, he never dived in. I would put him in (he would lay on the stairs tho by himself) and he always seemed to enjoy it okay. I just gave him lots of encouragement (and treats sometimes!) and acted so happy. The next summer, I got him a life jacket, and by mid-summer, he was jumping onto a raft first then into the water (which is what he did all the way until this summer). He is almost 4 and just now is diving in without the aid of a raft!
Lilo also makes a great name for Yorkies out there... weighing in at, what, less than 4lbs?! She shows 'em how it's done! What a great advocate for the breed.
