Been taking Deuce to see my Mom for the past three years. He just loves her. She lives in a Continuing Care Facility. Mom is now in Skilled Nursing Care and he loves it. She says the days I bring him are so relaxing. I was surprised by her comment but I can see that he has that effect on her and other residents. Mom is so relaxed when we are there with her. When we leave I usually help her into bed and Deuce just has to jump on and kiss her. During our visit I usually have him play ball with her (for her exercise) and then I work with him at his portfolio of tricks - sit, circle, down, roll over, shake paw (both) and high five. They just love watching us do that. I'm thinking I will try to work with him on some more complicated things just for the heck of it since they love just watching us. I couldn't believe the crowd we had during nap time!!!!!!
