 Red spot where shaved for surgery
Sophia had surgery on Tuesday and they shaved about a 4" x 4" square. Her incision is in the middle of it, and about 1 1/2" long. At the edge of where they shaved, she has a red spot (not near the incision). I noticed it the first day we brought her home, but it's a tad bit redder now. Is it possible that it's razor burn or somehting like that? It's not a bump, just a small area of redness. I can get a picture, but it would be graphic with the incision. I'm hoping to get the results of the mass today (but possibly tomorrow), and I plan on asking the vet when she calls. Sophia isn't bothering her incision at all, so I don't think it's from her. |
