To me, taking your dog to the groomer is just like taking yourself to your hairdresser/stylist. You have to be extremely clear & specific about what you want. Exact lengths & details should be given, and nothing beats showing a picture that clearly shows the look you are aiming for. I've been burned in the hair department before and now won't allow anyone near me with scissors unless they have a clear understanding and can describe back to me exactly what it is I want done.
To the OP...I hope Cocoa looks as you wanted her to look. If not, the hair will grow back and next time you go to the groomer take pictures of exactly what you want.
