This needs to be resolved...this is probably painful and worrisome for your baby...and is an unnecessary site of infection that I would suspect can worsen if not treated properly. A vet school can resolve it as they have the equipment to do so. I personally have NEVER heard of a "fox tail"....I have a fox tail fern in a pot on my patio...is this what we are talking about??? Does something on that fern cause this issue???
