This is something new to me. Is it a weed with thorns ? I wonder if it is like our Sand Spur weed.
Here in Fl. we have Sand Spurs, it is a weed that grows in sandy soil. The seeds are smaller than a pea, round with very sharp small thorns. When green they are painful if stepped on but usually can be pulled off intact. Once they turn brown the hair like sharp thorns are very hard to get out of skin, they can lead to infection.
