My cat had this, two surgeries later we lost him.

I hope the prognosis and treatment goes better for you.

It was 21 years ago for me so there hace been ample improvements tge surgery was an experimental procedure then.

I remember my Dad about fainting at the idea of a 900 surgery for a free cat, after the first surgery we did the second and he didn't make it out if recovery.

I have heard that sometimes now a change in diet is the first treatment used.

Sirry this seems like a really negative post, but I've always hoped the information gained from loosing my cat could help in the future treatment of this issue.
