My dog had a bump on his paw, where I noticed he's been licking before. But one day, it became a big hairless, darker skin surrounded bump. Now there's pus forming every day. Been 2 different vet, both of them said it's coz of fox tail grass. The 1st time, I was told it was drained. However, after I took the bandage off the next day as informed, I see the bump still right there. After the 7 days Clavamox prescripted went back for a follow up, was told no fox tail or grass seed was found at the 1st visit. When I told that there is pus everyday, I was suggested to get a emergency visit the next day. I chose to go to an another vet, was still told it's coz of fox tail. This time, anesthesia was given and the paw got lanced open. Was told nothing found inside again. My dog is still on the 10 day Amoxilin. However 5 days or so after the clear lance, the cut wound disappeared but the small bumps of pus continued to form. Please please kindly advise a vet to cure it.

No experience with this but has anyone suggested soaking it? If it was a human that is what we would do in either quite warm salt water or epsom salt water. Hope it goes away soon.
