I had to force myself to stick to a tight buying budget! Especially at first, when Chloe was new and "needed" everything!
I set myself an allowance each month to spend on her. If I wanted something more expensive, then I had to save several months' worth of allotments until I could afford it. It definitely helped me not to go overboard but still allowed me to buy for her! Good luck!
