Clever idea...I don't iron, so that might work...lol I use a large thick towel folded on the counter...lots of under counter lighting and good height right near the sink. Even that cushioned, the dryer takes on a 'different' sound when laid down that they don't like. I almost bought a rubber topped, folding grooming table, arms, straps, and all but where to store it? It's either a chore always setting it up and tearing it down or worse...I feared it would end up living in my kitchen, all set up, as often as I 'fiddle' with the kids. lol
