Bully Stick Dangers for Dogs | eHow.com

Remember, I was just researching trying to get over my disdain for them! I don't think its a big deal, I just know I wouldn't use them...almost everything our pets and we humans eat has some sort of risk...don't be put off because of my silly research...I honestly, don't think the warnings are that serious.
Even dog food has major risks. It also looks like those recalls were from 2007. For 3 years we have never had any problems and I don't plan on changing them now when again there is no problems and it keeps my dogs teeth in great shape. The ones I buy are made in America and they don't add nasty icky stuff on them like some companys do that can make dogs sick. Also it is very very hard for them to get any kind of blockage from bullsticks because they are digestible. Also the only bullysticks I have ever had stain are the carob ones. People can be grossed out by what it is but really they should be thinking about some of the parts that get grinded up and put in to dog food or about how nasty some of the dog food factory's are. I would also not be surprised if there is a "green slime" in the dog food company.
