Don't mistake your selfishness for something else. You knew you weren't supposed to take the dog in, you did it anyway and your mad that you got caught.

And a service dog has been trained specifically for it's job. A letter from a dr saying you need the dog for your well being isn't the same as a certified therapy/service dog.
Aside from it being wrong to lie about it, I'd be afraid if I did, I might not have to lie about it one day before too long. Who in the world would lie about being disabled really, when you think of it, just to get their dog in a business? Disability is nothing to treat so cavalierly for those in the midst of living it.
