I am so sorry. Hopefully after a while he will go back to his normal self. When I was growing up we had a dog we rescued and she was amazing and we got a beagle puppy and although she was spayed she thought this pup was hers she taught him how to play tug and stuff like that and she would flip his ears over and clean them she was like his mom but a disk in her back broke and she could only drag her back legs so my dad took her to the vet hospital and this was when surgery was still kinda experimental so she had to be put down and it was so hard for us even 12 years later me and my mom still cry talking about her but our beagle did bad for awhile he lost weight and became very scared of things but after a while he finally started to move on. It was sad seeing him so sad.
