I just got Mandie last Tuesday from a couple who were disappointed in her size. They told me, "we thought she was a regular yorkie and she is a teacup." (btw, I know there is technically no such thing)
My question is this...at 4 months old, they said she was 3 lbs. I took her to my vet yesterday (she is now 1 week shy of 5 months old) and she is 3 lbs and 10 oz. From some threads that I have read on here, that seems pretty much "on par" for a healthy, standard sized yorkie.
Am I right? I love her whether she is small or standard, but I'm curious what you all think. At 19 weeks..is 3lbs, 10 oz about right?

Hazel weighed in at 74 ounces or 4lbs 10 ounces at 29 weeks and has only added less than half a pound since then. She is over one now and ranges from a little under 5 lbs to a little over depending on how much she eats.
