I live in the country in Indiana and there really is a bad selection of vets where I live. The vet she has been seeing since I got her is an hour away. Hopefully by taking her somewhere else I'll get some sort of answer. All her vet told me is that she had dermatitis. Which I know means inflammation of the skin from taking medical terminology.

I have heard that some people give their yorkies childrens benadryl to lessen the itch. I actually spoke to a person who works for poison control and was told that the only difference between the prescription medicine people and animals get is that medicine for veterinary use isn't regulated as strictly.
