BoBo's home (:
This vet has been great until this set of vaccinations. He was there for at least 10 minutes to pay and all that before leaving, but he didn't start throwing up until we got in the car. In the original post I said within a few minutes..I didn't get the story straight because BoBo is my brother's dog and he was the one who took BoBo..I wasn't there. The vet had always helped BoBo and has been his vet for quite a while, so we trusted him..We went to another vet and they said that this rarely happens and the chances of them getting the disease from not being vaccinated is greater than the risk of the shock itself. NEEDLESS to say, still, we are no longer getting BoBo vaccinated!
The ER vet said that there has been an increase in dogs having this reaction lately since they have released a new type of vaccine..duno much more about it, it's something to think about.
Thanks for all the kind words and suggestions! We will definitely be more wary and do more research before things like this!! |
