Default anaphylactoid reaction from booster shot

Today our little 2 year old BoBo went in to get his boosters for DHLP and rabies...within several minutes he threw up, and while driving home he continued to throw up. We called the vet and they said that this was a normal reaction to the vaccines. He then began to have diarrhea, and by that time the vet's office had already closed..he began spewing blood from his butt and we got him into a different vet's office...they told us that it was the most severe reaction to vaccines that they have seen in their 23 years in veterinary practice, and that BoBo might not make it. Him gums were gray and white. They hooked him up to an IV and stabilized him and sent him to the emergency clinic.

Now his liver enzymes are 3x higher, his temperature is 99.3 degrees, gums are pink, and his blood is slowing beginning to clot again. The doctor says so far so good, and it *seems* like we're out of the woods for now, but it's hard to say. They are going to put him on antibiotics and a liver repairing medication..

Does anyone have any experience on this?? I was devastated when they said BoBo might not make it, and I'm glad he's stable now..but I'm still nervous..please pray for little BoBo!
