 What's up with the eyes?
I've been a new Yorkie owner for 1 month now and I'm puzzled about her eyes. They are constantly watery, but even worse, it makes her entire face smell. I asked the vet about this and he said something about it being common for very small dogs (she only weighs 1 lb 9 oz) to have eyeballs bigger than their sockets and that can cause the teary eyes. Have any of you ever heard of such a thing?
I read in another thread about giving them distilled water to help dry up the eyes and I'm definitely going to try that! Thank you to the person who posted that advice. I hope that will help with the icky smell.
