You will find that everyone here has an opinion about "the best way to feed your dog". You are correct that there have been many times food on here that is highly touted by members as "the best", ends up on a national recall list! You just need to read it all, take notes about what is said, then go to a nutrition site and see what is said about particular additives in dog food....if you are feeding a food that has grain listed as an ingredient low on the list, and your dog is tolerating it, dont worry about it! If your baby develops some kind of allergy or other symptom of "malnutrition", then start looking for a different food! Bright eyes, glossy coat, no itching, sneezing, chewing on feet, good, firm regular stooling, high energy levels,....dont worry about it....your dog eats the food and is enjoying it, be happy...you have found the "right food for YOUR dog".
