That totally makes sense...but I was referring to rotating proteins in a diet. I'll use Turbo as an example bc he can't have anything w/pumpkin in it & he only has 2 choices. He got THK Embark (turkey) last month & now he's on Thrive (chicken). They have no bad reactions when I switch from turkey to chicken...maybe bc they're in the same bird family?
Mimi, Momo & Princess tried all the different protein sources from THK w/out me mixing the old w/the new & had no bad reactions either.
Of course, when they were trying a whole new food like premade raw, I mixed gradually...
