To update my earlier post: I found and purchased a scooper at my local Wal mart. It is made by Quickie and for is a dustpan on a stick....I don't know how else to describe it. It's a large dustpan, larger than I would like, but what can you do when you are desperate, LOL. No need to ever bend over with it, it is sturdy.
I have found the one I want though...it is the Rubbermaid Lobby Pro Upright Dust pan, sold at Sam's Club. Next time I go in there, I will get one.
