We use hand signals and voice command. The "Yes" replaces the clicker. You click when they do the command or when the command ends. The "Yes" is the samething. Just "yes' instread of click. IMO for me hand signals and yes for training works better for "ME". I'm not carrying a clicker everywhere I go. Moki can do 7 commands with pure hand signals. No voice. And do the same commands with only voice. But we always use both. Just can't hear them in the video. If he's far and can't hear me but see's me the hand is better. But if my hands are full voice is better. The yes isn't used when he's mastered the trick. But thats what works for me. If you like clickers or any other means of training use it. I used a clicker before but find the other as effective. I really like the sign because I had a dog go deaf before. Yokies are smart. Try training a Hound dog. I had Coon hounds as a kid.........Not so easy or fun.
