I took her to the vet and we got bad news. It's actually gotten worse and she said although it's rare at her age, it's possible that it's a tumor. She mentioned a mast cell tumor, and something else. I was literally in such shock I don't really remember what else she said. Sophia also has a broken baby canine tooth. Long story short (and several toy purchases later) she's going in for surgery on Tuesday. The vet said the harness shouldn't touch the incision site and Sophia should wear a collar for 14 days. I'm currently searching for other options now
