I'm so happy to find this site! It's very helpful!
We didn't have any plans of getting a dog at the time but both my husband and I grew up having multiple ones. Our daughter is now 12 and has been begging for a dog. We usually go to a nearby pet store to play with the pups and in one occassion, I saw this tiny, well-behaved female yorkie looking at me. I decided to pet her and as soon as she sat on my lap, she just constantly look at me and just sat as if, she was saying, "Take me home, mama!". I talked to my husband to come home early because we saw this really cute pup... When he came home, we took him to the pet shop, not knowing that I already reserved the pup we named, Truffles. As soon as he saw her, he fell in love with her as well.
Our family fell in love with the breed... And just this week, we got our little male yorkie we named, Sir Wynston. Yes - there is a "Sir" in front of his name, Wynston because his persona is very aristocratic (named after Winston Churchill).
Our yorkies are not spayed or neutered... so, we're all looking forward to our Princess Truffles' and Sir Wynston's pups!!
