I've used Frontline for 12 years now. All of my dogs use it. I've never had a flea or a tick so I feel the product is effective in my area. As for side effects, I've never had a side effect in any of my dogs including my epileptic dog. As all dogs are different, I'd make mention of this to your vet, especially if you have a problem at the next dosage. Personally, I use half doses now but did use entire doses for years without a problem. Hope this helps, and I'm glad your little one is feelign better.
