She wont stop whimpering unless I pick her up and put her on my shoulder. It's funny because I haven't walked the floors, rubbing a baby in 14 yrs (my youngest child is 14). Now, I'm walking the floors for hours to soothe a furbaby!

I'm exhausted. I tried icing her knee but she wiggles. The vet wont give any additional meds because she's little. I'm ready to collapse, yorkie friends.
Thanks for your kind words and prayers! They're keeping me going...
Did the vet grade both knees, and actually diagnoses LP then? What grade are they at this age?

YES, definitely get stairs! I have 3 doggie stairs throughout my house.

It's very odd that the vet said he can't give meds "due to size" - that doesn't sound right one bit. What is her size? Vets give meds to newborn puppies, if needed, so this isn't making sense to me unless he is talking about one very specific med that's contraindicated in a certain size. That said, almost any med can be compounded...so size is usually a moot point. If she is in pain, I'd go to another vet asap to get it managed.

Did the vet recommend icing, btw? Or icing, then heat?
