awwww poor little man! he must me uncomfortable! I know they have those big green horse flies in Maine....Maybe he got bit by one of those? I have never had anything like this happen but, my daughter and son in laws boxer got bit by one and he had a really bad reaction to it...his entire faced swelled up! he looked deformed! had to be put on meds....I would keep and eye on it. if it doesn't seem to be getting any better and the swelling going down, i would bring him to the vet.. I hope all turns out ok for him
