As far as show dogs and keeping them wrapped...I'm the wrong person to ask about that.
I think Pat, (yorkierose) mentioned once that she doesn't wrap?

I use different things. I use coat handler's diluted in warm water. I also use it as a spritz before brushing. I also use petsilk stengthening silk rinse treatment. (it's a reconstructor as well, diluted). I use the petsilk as my main leave in and the c/h as an in between most of the time. I also use motions leave in. (in full strength) It's a product that i get at sally beauty supply made for african american type hair. I will admit that I've used it on myself too...I have caucasion hair with alot of color on it.
Ohh, forgot to mention my most fav product there is...petsilk liquid silk (finisher) not a leave in streghthner, but a great product for their coats. i use it last and go over with a boar bristle to distribute. Talk about shine and luster! And a wonderful, pleasing smell.
