Its funny to watch them chase bugs. Callie will tell us there is a bug (just by her actions) and maybe hit it with her nose or throw it once and occasionally kill it but never eats them. We always tell her how good she is. The male beagle mix I grew up with is normally kinda scared of everything but if there is a bug and he kills it he will walk around with his head held high and chest all puffed out until someone tells him how good he is its so funny. If she ever starts chasing crickets I would not let her eat them because I heard they can carry tape worm.
