I'm so sorry for your loss
It is NOT your fault!!! If she had AAI, that is a genetic condition. There are many times no symptoms until they just move their neck too hard, or wrong, and bam, there it is. Can the vet tell you if AAI was present? If so, I'd let her breeder know.
