Initially our vet said we could wait until her first dental to get her baby canines pulled since they weren't inflammed or messing up her bite but her upper baby canines and adult canines were so snug together that food started getting trapped between them. Even with daily brushing, it was difficult to keep her teeth free of stuff that she chewed on so we eventually ended up scheduling them to be removed.

Definitely ask your vet what they recommend but if your pup has any kind of pain or inflammation near the gums, they need to come out as soon as possible.
I've been keeping an eye on them every day. We brush every day and she gets food stuck between her canines constantly that is difficult to remove. I will ask if they recommend waiting for her first dental or going ahead now. She needs a heartworm test as we have one monthly pill left and she was too young before, and we are going to try to figure out her skin issues. Hopefully the teeth can wait til her first dental.
