I lost my beautiful Shayleigh in 2003 due my Mother In Law and one of her pills. We were staying there for few months.
My MIL was on Blood Thinner medication and she dropped one on the floor and Shayleigh got hold it. We had no idea at the time what Shay's problem was. While she was at hospital , I went back to the house and searched high and low for what she could have gotten into and we found another pill on the floor. The Vet Specialist and I did everything we could to save her. But in the end she bleed out in her brain. My Sweet Shayleigh was only 2 1/2 yrs old.
To this I fear pills so much. |
oh My Vickie how sad, I told my mother about what happened before reading your post and she said that she said would be really worried about her medicine which is cumadin (sp) which is a blood thinner. Good advice about the purses, so often people leave purses on they floor when they come to visit, I am always putting them on the counter in the laundry room, mostly because I don't like a mess but this gives me an excuse because I know Lola will pull things out of purses and so often people have pills or sugar free gum in them
