Dee, when I was told about Lola being sick and needing surgery, I felt like someone had kicked me in the stomach. I understand how you feel. She was so tiny and helpless, and I knew I was responsible for helping her. It is a heavy burden and very scary to go through. You are doing the right thing and Buddy is VERY lucky to have you as his mommy...I know you must love him very much! He will be much healthier and happier after they repair the shunt. I'm sending thoughts and prayers your way!
