Looks like it could be a bug bite. I took Teddy to the vet last month because he had a giant bump between his shoulders. The skin turned light pink and didn't have a spot like Sophia's. The doctor asked if maybe he was stung. I don't think so because I am always right on top of him when we are outside and I think he would have yelped. The bump reduced in size by 1/2 the first couple of days, but then it took a awhile to go away completely.
I believe Teddy's bump was a spider bite. Spiders have been terrible this year.
I hope Sophia's spot goes away soon and that you won't have to take her to the vet.
