Thanks everybody. Actually the seller claims they are in a nearby town and wants to meet in a park to do the exchange (yikes). They seem legit, but only time will tell.

, no matches on Tineye. They are very firm on the price, no papers and all. What do I need papers for, btw? FYI, I do not plan on showing or breeding this dog.
Tried one breeder on YTCA and still no answer. Will try calling another tomorrow, and will continue to look at the rescues. Thanks again to all.
