We have a mill about 40 miles from where I live. They mostly supply pet stores though. They raise all small breed dogs. Poms, Yorkies, Bichon and they also mix them. There is not a big market for small dogs in this area so they have people who truck them to various places around the country. They have hundreds of these little dogs in outdoor kennels. I don't know how they survive the harsh winters here. They are located way outside any city limit in a very rural area. People who have driven out there say they put the kennels way out of sight from the road but the sound of the poor babies can still be heard from the dirt road they are located on. These people have got to be one of the lowest life forms on earth. |
