My puppies do NOT start their vaccines til they are 8 weeks, then 12 then 16. I frequently keep them that long.. And, worming is something that I do not do unless the puppies have a positive stool for something. They do not leave my house before 12 weeks! Most responsible breeders keep their puppies til they are at least 12 weeks and maybe older if the puppy is a tiny.
Since you have to make an appt with the vet for the puppy to be checked within a day or so, your vet could give the vaccination if they want..And, do a stool and worm or treat parasites.. JMO |
