Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I'm glad your boy's skin and coat are doing better.
I think it depends on the dog. My boys would be a disaster if I let them go more than 10 days without a bath. They are in full coat. Their coats and skin were drying out recently, so I started them on a fish oil supplement that cured the problem.
There are so many variables when it comes to healthy skin and coat: diet first and foremost, grooming products (conditioner is a must for us), activity and so on.
