Just keep doing what your doing he will get the message with the pads they are a clever bunch these yorkies. Can I suggest you change him to dry food though, wet is not ideal for yorkies as small breeds are more prone to dental problems. Does your vet have a nurse who deals with diet ? They can advise of this. It's easy to change, just choose a kibble, royal canin yorkshire terrier 29 or. Burns small bite are a couple of the ones I'v tried mix in a few bits with the food he has now and just increase the kibble and decrease the meat over a couple of weeks. And bingo . I give my girls some chicken or veg now with theirs just to keep them interested. Good luck and just be patient with little Alfie there is so much to enjoy with these dogs.
