I got an email the other day.. it was a spoof of a bank of american email. It said there was a problem with my account and for them to research it they needed my info...I don't have a boa account so it was easy to spot as fraud. I feel so bad for the people who fall for stuff like that. |
I get these as well, mine from BMO...never had a BMO account and one from even Paypal...knew as soon as I got them they were fraud. Oh and one from my own bank! Called them and they told me they never send out emails, but thanked me for reporting it...seems I wasn't the only one....they were working to find out who it was and shutting them down, and trying to warn their customers. I dont get what is wrong with ppl!
Do they have nothing to do??? I mean really??
