In the summer, I towel dry Abby only, and then she rolls around on the couch and/or in her bed, and i will let her walk out back on the patio in the sun for a few minutes. In the cold winter, while I'm bathing her, her towel is being warmed up by a heating pad on low setting so it's warm when I wrap her in it, and then we go in the bathroom where I've plugged in a little portable heater and closed the doors to get it very warm in there (plus i make sure to turn up the thermostat for the furnace a few extra degrees) where then I blow her dry! So much easier to give her a bath in the summer! |
