It is brutally obvious the bone is broken! Where on the bone is it broken....does it involve a joint.....is it a foot or toe......is it hairline, or even a well approximated break where it is a long bone that fits nicely back together???? Take your pup to your vet tomorrow....hopefully, your baby is on some kind of pain med....ER vets are about double what your personal vet costs. Unless it is a really complicated, extensive, involved break, your licensed vet will be able to set that bone. He should be willing to work with you on some kind of a monthly payment plan.....if he does work with you in this instance, it is CRUCIAL you make the payments FAITHFULLY, as he allows you to....you will be setting up for any FUTURE emergencies with your pup...if you show yourself to be trustworthy, he will work with you...if you blow it on this, you are in an unfortunate circumstance for any future issue you may encounter! |
I agree about the treatments....it is why I suggested Dr. Beale look at it even IF she cannot afford surgery. He can tell her exactly what would be best in terms of treatment. At least she will then know for sure what she is dealing with' and be able to compare other vets prices. Now, maybe her regular vet will know...I don't know....but I know for a fact Dr. Beale will.
I will take this one step further here....OP I will pay for you to take her to Dr. Beale for an evalation. I have that much faith in him.....and at least then you will know what's up.

I agree completely. That option kills me ... nothing I could ever do with any of my pups.
