Let me add, I can not imagine why they would offer amputation unless it is a really involved, complicated break...IF IT WAS ME, I would give my baby up to someone that I KNEW could afford to give her the care she needed, rather than have limbs amputated as a "cost effective alternative" rather than a medical necessity....that option just curdles my blood. This is absolutely beyond my scope of reality......
