Yikes! I think I've been taken for a LONG ride. I paid $425 for Muffin's surgery. Everything was ala carte. Each procedure was a seperate charge. Blood work, anesthesia, operating room, spaying, teeth pulling and pain medicine. I guess I should have done some homework and found a good vet that didn't charge as much. And to top things off, Muffin developed a bladder infection two weeks after her surgery so I had to take her back to the vet to the tune of another $200 dollars! Of course the vet said the infection had 'nothing' to do with her surgery which I think is bull but I can't prove it.

The vet did find slight elevation in Muffin's kidney values. Don't quite know what that means but I have to bring her back in next week for another blood test to check them again. Does anybody know what elevated kidney values means????
