I agree with Gracielove: take that off ASAP. Besides the bad material, it looks way bigger than the right size for him. I would feel castrophobic too
My pup Maltese got spayed almost a week ago, & I devised to buy a small one from Lemos. It's same material, but smaller & has a fabric border around all edges. I still don't like to see her with that bc she seems to hate it. I know I could have gotten a better one looking at the comments above.
I was suggested to use that sour spray on her belly so she wouldn't lick, but she has no problem licking the sourness solution!
Hope your babe recovers soon & definetelly seek something better because that looks torturing
