My last yorkie loved going in the pool, but that was when I had an inground pool with steps which she knew to swim to (and just liked playing on and laying on the top one).
Now with ZoE I have a small above ground pool and she doesn't like it at all. I think because she swims to a side and then panicks until I can grab her. She loves her lil wading pool though & she swims in the lake at my friends house, so I know she likes water. I'd love for her to be as confident in the water as Jackson. |
Yep, he always goes right to the steps!
Is there some kind of ramp you could put in, so that she has an easy access to get in/out? I don't think Jackson would like if he did not have an exit per say either.
