First thing I always ask is if the other dog is friendly and would it be ok for them to have Callie come up and say hi. I also try to read a lot about dog body language and watch the other dog carefully and if there is any sign that they are getting agitated or showing aggressive body language we just walk away. Does your little guy jump on the other dog or get really hyper around them? Callie takes being jumped on and other stuff a hyper pup might do but some dogs do not especially if they are older or not well socialized.
