We ended up taking Anakin to the vet. This morning the bite looked angry and I pulled out two splinter like things out of it. The vet said it looked fine and it was good I got the whole thing out.
So I ended up purchasing Vectra for them and they applied it there.
He said the site is fine and to just keep monitoring him. Poor little guy, it was on the side of his head and now it is like a pin hole with redness around the site. I got some antibiotic and the 3 month supply of Vectra. I asked about symptoms and he said if he was going to react it would be in the first 24 hours, and he has been his normal happy self.
