I know you must love him very much and I'm really not trying to scare you. He could be having a hard time going between the two foods. Maybe try to cut out the chicken except to mix a little in his food if he doesn't like to eat as much of it as he should. Giving too many tasty treats can cause them not to want to eat their regular food. They really need the nutrition of their puppy food. I hope he starts doing better soon.
