Ticks, I hate them. We have them bad here. But we have the yard treated and I treat the girls. I have had good luck with Advantix and Vectra 3D. I only use 1/2 a tube on each one. Frontline is worthless in my area for ticks.
Mink sheen will not stop ticks. I think it helps with fleas and maybe some others but not ticks.
Luckily, the ticks we get here are the little ones on my girls. I would probably be a little freaked out if there was a big one too! Lol
The vet can do a blood test to check for certain diseases. They did one on Mikki when I first got her because she had ticks on her. I am not sure what all they check for. |
